About RAGT:

Founded in 1919 and established in all major European agricultural regions, RAGT Seeds researches, produces and sells seeds including wheat, barley, oilseed rape, oats, maize, forage grass and soil health crops.

 

Innovation is vital to us, that’s why we spend over 18% of our turnover in research, supporting 18 subsidiaries, 17 research stations, 300 000 experimental plots, 4 multi-species laboratories. Today, more than 800 people are working in the RAGT Seeds group, of which 280 are dedicated to research.

 

RAGT Seeds UK is based at Ickleton, Essex and headquartered in Rodez, France.


 

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Commercial areas of the business, this role will be responsible for organising and maintaining Site Facilities, carrying out reception duties and providing Health & Safety administration at our Ickleton site.


 

The post requires:

Good communication and negotiation skills, flexibility, positive attitude and enthusiasm, attention to detail, use of initiative and ability to plan ahead.


 

Position:

  • Would suit an individual with minimum GCSE or equivalent pass in Maths, English and good I.T skills.  

  • Previous experience in reception and office administration is required.  

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety is preferable but not essential.  

  • Full training will be provided.

Type of contract: permanent contract.

Working time: full-time position, working 37.0 hours
